about SHARI … Shari’s 25+ year real estate career started with office admin, progressed to “commission only” selling whilst juggling the role of solo Mum, moving on to accepting the challenge of Branch Manager & Trainer for a corporate team of 12 salespeople and 2 admin staff and following her heart by starting her own real estate company in 2014. She strongly believes that an owner/operator business can be just as professional as a larger corporate whilst offering a more personal ‘one on one’ experience for the seller and buyer.
In an age where customer service frequently means ‘chatbots’ and ‘elevator music’ whilst we’re put ‘on hold’, Shari offers a refreshingly honest, upfront and highly professional service. As an added bonus, she passes on to her clients, the savings of running a small and mobile business, by way of lower commission and discounted Gold Package marketing.
As a fully licensed real estate agent, she owns and runs her business under the agency name Indie Real Estate Ltd.

about RICHARD .. With over 40 years experience in design, including working at the BBC and TVNZ, teaching at tertiary level, publishing, branding and marketing, and residential and commercial interior design, Richard has added a high level of sophistication and creativity to the way Shari runs her business. Since 2001, Richard has been Shari’s photographer and graphic designer for all her listings. In 2014 Richard designed the original ‘Indie’ brand and has refreshed it again in 2022 to reflect Shari’s more personal (less corporate) approach.
